Everything a tour operator needs, inside WooCommerce

ARB adds a dated, per-person departure layer to WooCommerce, so every tour becomes a normal order you already manage.

  • Own your bookings. Guests reserve a departure and pay through your existing WooCommerce checkout.
  • Pay once. A one-time $55 license instead of the $249-a-year WooCommerce Bookings path.
  • Price by season and group. Set peak-date, weekend, and headcount rates per departure.
  • Never oversell a seat. Each departure closes the moment its seats sell out.

Four features that run your tours

Dated departures with fixed times

ARB Availability tab setting departure dates and fixed daily time slots

Set departure dates, weekly patterns, and fixed times through range-based availability rules.

  • Add date, day-of-week, and fixed-time departures.
  • Run multi-day and multi-session tours.
  • Set lead time and how far ahead guests book.

Per-person and seasonal pricing

ARB Persons and Costs tabs pricing adults, children, and seasonal ranges

Price each age tier separately, then layer seasonal, weekend, and group rates on top.

  • Set adult, child, and senior prices with limits.
  • Add peak-season and weekend surcharges.
  • Discount groups once headcount crosses a threshold.

Seat capacity and a live spots-left counter

ARB capacity setting showing seats per departure and a slots-left counter

Cap seats per departure and show guests exactly how many spots remain.

  • Set a hard seat cap per departure.
  • Display a live "4 left" counter on the page.
  • Close a departure automatically when full.

Guides, boats, and routes as resources

ARB Resources tab listing guides and boats with their own availability

Model each guide, vehicle, or route as a resource with its own price and calendar.

  • Give each guide separate rates and dates.
  • Run two boats or three routes independently.
  • Show only the chosen resource's open dates.

Set up a tour booking in four steps

Four steps turn a normal product into a bookable tour; the full walkthrough covers each field.

  1. Set the product type to Reservable Product.
  2. Add departure dates and times, then cap seats per slot.
  3. Add adult, child, and senior person types with prices.
  4. Add guides or routes as resources, then publish the tour.

ARB vs manual booking on plain WooCommerce

Plain WooCommerce sells one fixed product; it cannot schedule a departure, cap seats, or price a tour per person on its own.

Is ARB right for your tours?

Match ARB against your operation before you buy.

ARB is a great fit if all three of these are true.

  • You want one-time, WooCommerce-native tour booking on your own site.
  • You want per-person, per-date pricing and seat caps without a subscription.
  • You take direct bookings and want every departure as a WooCommerce order.

Look elsewhere if any of these are dealbreakers.

  • You need built-in deposits or partial payments before the tour.
  • You need OTA or channel-manager sync with Viator or GetYourGuide, waitlists, or native two-way calendar sync.
  • You need a one-way Google Calendar sync without the $19 add-on, or native SMS without the $15 add-on.

FAQs

Can I Take Tour Bookings With WooCommerce?

Yes. ARB adds a Reservable Product type, so a tour becomes a normal WooCommerce product with a booking form, checked out through the store's existing cart.

Is There a Free WordPress Tour Booking Plugin?

Yes, free options exist, most notably WP Travel Engine's free core plugin on WordPress.org. ARB has no free tier; it sells as a one-time license around $55. Avoid nulled or pirated copies of any tour plugin, since they carry real security risk.

Can I Charge Different Prices for Adults, Children, and Seniors?

Yes. Person Types give each participant category its own price and its own minimum and maximum.

Can I Limit Seats Per Departure?

Yes. Max Reservations per Slot caps seats per departure, and a live slots-left counter shows how many remain.

Can I Set Seasonal or Weekend Tour Pricing?

Yes. Cost Add-Range rules on the Costs tab add or subtract price for a date range, time range, or range of days.

Does ARB Support Scheduled Departures With Fixed Times?

Yes, configured through Availability Ranges and fixed slots rather than a dedicated departures calendar. Date range with time and range of days cover most fixed-departure patterns.

Can Customers Pay Online for a Tour?

Yes. Every WooCommerce payment gateway a store already has connected works with ARB, including PayPal, Stripe, and Square.

Can I Take a Deposit or a Quote Request for a Private Tour?

Request-for-Quote mode and confirmation-required checkout both work today. ARB does not support a native partial deposit, so a store that specifically needs deposits should compare the WooCommerce Marketplace's own Travel Tour Booking add-on.
