Create Menus from WP-Admin > Appereance -> Menus page and choose from one of the two options:
i) From the Select drop-down, select an existing menu to edit.
ii) Create a new menu by clicking on the create a new menu link.
After that you can choose Pages, Posts, Custom Links(useful for One-Page layout’s menu), Categories from the left column and click Add to Menu button. The selected menus will be added under the Menu Structure. Then you will need to choose Theme Locations under the Menu Settings:
- Choose ‘Main Menu’ if you want to use the menu as the main navigation menu of your website.
- Choose ‘Footer Menu One’ if you want to use the menu in the Footer section’s 2nd column.
- Choose ‘Footer Menu Two’ if you want to use the menu in the Footer section’s 3rd column.
Once done, click on the Save Menu button and you are done.
